Jerca Rožnik Novak, Slovenian contemporary dance professional and performer will spend 2 weeks at Bakelit on a creative residency to develop her new piece called 2GETHER/A(L)ONE. As part her residency she would like to invite civilians to participate in the creation of the performance in the frame of a workshop. Throughout the workshop we will develop a platform of participation that offers an experience of co- creation of the performance “2GETHER/AL(L)ONE” at the moment happening.

People of all ages and professions are welcome to join in order to create as many different ways, possibilities and methods that are comfortable for the co- creators to join, experience and become a part of the performance.

Each workshop session will start with individual interviews with the co-creators connected to the understanding of co-creation, breaking the “4th wall” and participation in the performance.

Throughout the workshop we will focus on different movement tasks, spacial tasks and group tasks, connected to the topic that the performance is dealing with- being left alone, missing the absent person, situations and people the way they were before they unexpectedly changed, searching for quick solutions in a disastrous situation.

The workshop is lead by Jerca Rožnik Novak, Slovenian professional dancer and performer.
