she said:
come to the edge
and they said:
we can not, we will fall
and she said:
come to the edge
we can not, we will fall down
come to the edge!!!!
And they went
And she pushed them down..
…and they flew
Dance without a name, dance with wings, passion and liberation. A multimedia dance poem in which two men dream and dance with birds, constantly alternating their selves between the two worlds.
Javier Murugaarren (E/NL)
Multidisciplinary artist working with choreographic experimentation, linking movement with textile practices, sound and language. Event organizer and curator at Performance Gallery Gare Du Noord in Amsterdam NDSM.
Inspired by his family’s sartorial tradition; he correlates craft production and stage mechanisms to create inclusive pieces with a strong social character. His experiments have been hybridised in recent years using exhibition platforms such as installation, music, fashion and scenography.
Erikk McKenzie (NO)
He is an artist working within and between the disciplines of dance / movement, choreography, music, theater and performance. His work explores body, sound and meaning, and the relation between these, and has been presented in galleries, schools, elderly homes, clubs, theatres and other public spaces.
Several of his works are driven by a curiosity towards – and attempts to exceed – digital / organic and nature / human dichotomies in the current age of anthropocene.
