In addition to its already traditional festival, the L1 Contemporary Dance Festival, the L1 Association organized a festival in May 2007 where only aged domestic and foreign performers and dancers were invited.

In today’s fast-paced world, unfortunately, there is quite a lack of respect for years and experiences, and L1 members now want to draw the attention of the public and those interested.

Their mini-festival was joined by affiliate programs that also dealt with the passage of time.

“We want to provide space, opportunity, understanding and security for those who enrich our program with their art and who, while perhaps not seen in this award, deserve respect for non-oblivion.”

I was a choreographer 1984 – 1989. Member of Sofa Trio 1989 – 2005, Centre Choreographique National d’Orleans / Josef Nadj Ensemble 1988 – 2007 (status stagionére), Ben Hur Live Arena Show 2009 – 2011 (principal 5/7). I am writing novellas: www. tarzanzero.hu – Currently I am living in Berlin, selling sausages. My professional activity: to roast, to sell, to cash in, to work  for customers’ satisfaction.

Who is Tarzan Zero?

I have been writing short stories at night for my own pleasure. Some have already appeared in magazines, but so far I didn’t feel like devoting them so much to publication. Tarzan Zero is my other self, and if I find his writings ten years ago in the drawer lately and read them, I see that these short stories can get someone else a few hilarious minutes. That’s why I compile a volume to see if it pleases a publisher… Let people laugh at my opus, For example, The Death of a Bra! There is a Chinese wisdom: give birth to a child, plant a tree, and write a book so you lived a full life. All I need is the book. Now I will have time to organize my short stories anyway, because I am facing a long illness. First I go to Seville, then I have a groin hernia surgery in Budapest, then more performances with Josef Nadj’s company, and then a ceramic insert is built into my hips in France in the summer, because I’m still dancing on stage at the cost of an awful effort. I will recover for months after the surgery, I will have the opportunity to deal with my short stories and think about how I could be the Hungarian Jango Edwards. In the meantime, I am working on a plan: in July 2006, I would like to present a performance entitled Rediscovering Meat at the Avignon Festival. Composer István Kovács Tickmayer writes a piano piece at my request, and while he performs it, we play a production of the pig slaughter ritual on top of the piano – killing pig was a defining childhood experience for me in the village, with my grandparents.
